Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Is it asking for a a keychain password or just the regualar password you may have to reset your password if its the regular password, and you just need to put in the 1st operating disc that came with the computer and hold down the C key when you hear the sound and hold it down till you see the apple symbol, then when it boots up select english and then the next one go to the top of the finder and click utilities and then change the password, then save everything and then quit the password changer and then quit the installation and then restart the computer.

SOURCE: is there an equivalent program on apple like regedit?

Apple has files that contain the same type of info as the windows registry .

They are referred to as .plist files.

Example:

/Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences

There is not a typical registry.

Battle of Britain is meant for Windows 7. Can I run it in Windows 8.1? I am getting an error report while trying to install the game on my PC

I would try installing the game using program comparability troubleshooter

Run the Program Compatibility Troubleshooter

  1. Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Search.
(If you're using a mouse, point to the upper-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer down, and then clickSearch.)
  2. Enter run programs in the search box.
  3. Tap or click Run programs made for previous versions of Windows, and then tap or click Next.
  4. Select the program you want to fix.
    - Or -
If you don't see the program in the list, select Not Listed.
  5. Tap or click Next, and then follow the instructions in the troubleshooter.

    Tip

    • You can also run the Program Compatibility Troubleshooter from your desktop. Press and hold or right-click the program's icon or shortcut on your desktop, and then tap or click Troubleshoot compatibility.
    • The Program Compatibility Troubleshooter can fix problems that can't be detected or fixed by the Program Compatibility Assistant.

Spreadsheets

To open a spreadsheet 'FILE' you need a spreadsheet 'PROGRAM'. Unfortnately Apple don't give you one free anymore so you will have to buy one. Apple Numbers (part of iWork) or Microsoft Excel (part of MS Office) or you can download a freebie from the open office people.

I would uninstall it and reinstall again. If that doesn't fix it, uninstall it and use Open Office instead. Far better, free open access and easier to use plus fully compatible with any microsoft stuff.

The truth is the iwork program that you have bought will be for desktop and laptop macs and not the ipad. If you have not opened the packaging you should return it and get your money back, and explain that you required it for the ipad. For the ipad you would go to the app tab in itunes and buy it through the itunes store the current price for the individual apps in iwork (i.e. pages, numbers and keynote) in UK pounds is 5.99. Hope this helps.

If you downloaded iWork (30 day trial) it requires a serial number to unlock. if you purchased iWork in a retail box, it does not require a serial number.
It is likely you still have the trial version on your mac. Delete the Apps from your applications folder and reinstall from the disk.

My MacBook

Did you use PC2-5300 200 Pin DDR2 SODIMM. One problem could be that the RAM is PC rather than PC2, a very easy mistake.
Otherwise, try taking out the RAM and reinstalling it. If that doesn't work, trying installing the original RAM.
