SOURCE: garage door opener keypad

On the rear of the opener near where all those white wires go you will find the smart/learn button. Press and immediately release it and then walk over to your keypad and key in any 4 digit code you want and press enter. Should do it for you.

SOURCE: How do I reset my keypads outside? My battery

There is no reset. You can try programming it and see if that works. If not it is probably dead.

On the rear of the motor unit you will find the smart/learn button. Press and immediately release this and then walk over to your keypad and key in your four digit code and press enter.

SOURCE: keypad won't program to garage

It sounds like the keypad is not compatible with the main garage door. Make sure the keypad is the correct only for that model number opener. Older models will not work with newer openers and vice versa.

I think i have a vista keypad. I dont have a manual that shows the keypad features. I like for the doors to chime when opened. They stopped chiming for some reason. can this be reset.

On a vista system, enter your 4 digit code and press the 9 button. The keypad should read: Disarmed Chime. The keypad should ding ding ding when a door is opened. To turn the chime off, enter you code and press the 9 button again.

My precor efx 546 keypad comes on, the enter button accepts all the info and programs are displayed. 1. The quickstart button does not work. 2. Both crossramp and resistance do not move either when...

1. Sounds like you need a new keypad if some buttons do not work. 2. If those buttons do not work either, it sounds like you need a new keypad, possibly the upper board. Make sure the keypad is plugged into the upper board and the connection is not corroded. 3. Older 546s used an electromagnet to produce resistance, newer 546s use a generator and resistor to produce resistance. I have never seen a 546 that used a motor that moves back and forth to produce resistance. Some residential crosstrainers use a motor like you describe.
