Question about GE 24 in. GSD5560GSS Built-In Dishwasher
I accidentally put Dawn on the Jet Dry dispenser It doesn't seem to be hurting anything, but is there a way to "clean out" the reservoir and start over ? Thanks
It may not hurt the machine, but it leaves soap on the clean dishes. You can't really remove the reservoir without dismantling the entire door. it's pretty straightforward, but takes a little time and effort. If you're not prepared to dismantle the door to get to the reservoir, you -could- try cleaning/rinsing it out with a turkey baster and a small diameter piece of plastic tubing. Just suck everything out, then fill it with rinse water and suck that out as well. But you'd have to fill it with rinse water over a dozen times to really get it clean. Hope that helps. ;)
