I have had snap do on my computer, but I but my normal browser back instead of snap do. But every time time I open a new tab, snap do comes up instead of my normal browser. What do I do ?? :(


I would suggest going to the
control panel
then to programs
then to uninstall a program and see if this Snap do is there and uninstall the program

see if that will solve the problem

I want to remove snap.do from my tool bar as it has replaced google, I would like Google back


first try opening your browser and go to add ons setting and remove or disable it from there, if this doesn't work download malwarebytes and run it and see if it picks it up.

"Aw, Snap!" IssueYou may see the "Aw, Snap!" message if a webpage crashes unexpectedly.
SolutionsIf a webpage crashes unexpectedly, you can simply reload the page. If you're seeing the "Aw, Snap!" message for every page you visit, try the solutions below:

Some anti-virus or firewall applications, such as Symantec Endpoint Protection, can prevent Google Chrome from working properly. Test whether such applications on your computer are causing the error by turning them off temporarily. Then try opening Google Chrome again. If you are able to open the browser, you'll need to create an exception in your anti-virus or firewall settings for Google Chrome. Once you've done so, you can then re-enable the applications.
Conflicting applications that users have reported include the following:
  • Spyware Doctor
  • Comodo firewall
  • McAfee Enterprise
  • McAfee Virus Scan
Try disabling your extensions one by one to see if a particular extension is causing the problem.
  1. Click the wrench icon chrome_toolsmenu.gif on the browser toolbar.
  2. Select Tools.
  3. Select Extensions.
  4. On the Extensions page, click Disable for the extension you'd like to temporarily remove.
Go back to your list of extensions at any time to re-enable disabled extensions. You may need to refresh the page in order to use extensions you've re-enabled.

If the browser continues to display the "Aw, Snap!" message, your user profile may be corrupted.
To create a new user profile, follow these steps:

  3. Rename the folder as "Backup default."
  4. Restart Chrome.

Please connect the Mobile to the Computer, then Uninstall F-Secure Anti Virus Software from the Computer.

Follow these steps:

Uninstalling the product from your computer To uninstall F-Secure Internet Security or F-Secure Anti-Virus 2011, 2010, 2009 or 2008 from Windows XP:
  1. Click Start > Control Panel .
  2. Double-click Add or Remove Programs .
  3. Scroll down to your F-Secure product and click Change/Remove .

To Re-install the Software, Please follow these below steps:


To reinstall the product, do one of the following:
  • If you have the installation CD, reinstall the product from the CD.
  • Download and reinstall the product as follows:
    1. Download the product from F-Secure website.
    2. Double-click the downloaded file to start the installation.
    3. During the installation, enter your subscription key when asked.

Note: You can reinstall your F-Secure product by using the existing subscription key. Make sure that you are connected to the Internet before you enter the subscription key. You do not need to register again after reinstalling your F-Secure product.


Additional information

If you have an older version of F-Secure Internet Security, you can find the subscription key of your product as follows:

  1. Open F-Secure Internet Security.
  2. On the Home tab, click Advanced.
  3. Select General > My Subscription. Your subscription key is shown on the My Subscription page.

Can't update or even find eTrust EZ Anti Virus on my computer


I was using SBC Global while in California. I moved to Oregon and am currently using Comcast. The problem was that my anti virus was part of my SBC Global package. I was able to contact SBC Global where they informed me that they use Symantac which uses Norton anti virus. I was able to contact and download Norton uninstall tool to uninstall the anti virus. I also uninstalled the SBC Global software (AT&T Yahoo) and that enabled me to install new anti virus software.

2 anti-virus software can not co-exist on a computer system ; therefore you did the correct thing by uninstalling the old anti-virus first . However , there are lots of anti-viruses which do not get deleted (uninstalled) by going to Start > control panel > Add/Remove program. These anti-virus have to be removed by special "uninstallers" . I do not know which Anti-virus you have on your system , therefore I will provide you with the link of most common anti-virus uninstallers :

once the antivirus is removed through the uninstaller , then try installaing the new anti-virus which was giving you "files corrupt" message ... it will then work fine.
