Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3

1 Answer

Ringer When I call my girlfriends phone, she has a 20 - 25 second ringtone, but she only hears 10 - 15 seconds of it then it says missed call. When I am calling it, I let it ring all the way till it goes to voice mail, which is about 4 rings. I play the same ringtone on my phone and when she calls, I hear the entire ringtone. Any ideas? THanks

Ringtone is not ringing properly

Hi, what causes the phone not to be able to ring out is due to the ringer inside the phone that allows you to hear a ringing tone is bad.

You will need to replace the ringer inside the phone. When replaced phone will start ringing out and you can hear when it rings out.

have a nice day.

How do I increase my ring tone volume on my Moto Razor .?

You can set the length of your incoming ring to in the Call forwarding portion of the phone. Usually, it is set to 25 seconds. It can go as high as 30 seconds. To set the ringer to be longer or shorter, it goes by 5,10,15,... set of 5 increments. up to 30.
I would also recommend to use a factory set ringtone, set the profile to LOUD or OUTDOORS. With vibrate option on. Some downloaded ringtones don't play as loud.

Ringer too quiet

I do apologize for your issue with the quiet ringer. Especially if you have some important calls you are waiting for. Somethings to keep in mind. Everyday, you want to make sure you power down your cellular phone completely for about 10-20 seconds. That way it's refreshed.
Second, check your profile on the phone is on silent, meeting, outdoors, normal, etc? When you highlight either of them you can customize it. Make the volume higher. Also, for testing purposes set only factory made ringtones, which are already on your phone. Test them all out, and see which ones are sufficient. A lot of times if you download ringtones or use MP3's as ringtones, they are not loud enough.

I know this will assist you with your phone and ringers!

My ringer for my motorola e815 is to quiet

Is the volume all the way up.

You can select the ringer and vibration option, so you would not miss your calls, or you can try using other ringtones which have a higher tone.

Problem with the number of rings

Remove the voicemail or extend ring time
don.t know is this code works world wide but you can try otherwise ask the provider to lengthen the ring time to 30 secs
then enter country code IE 61 for australia
* then vmail number IE 321 for optus
so your code should look something like this
then hit call.
remember the 61 and the 321 will vary on country and provider
