Fuel pump. Do the filter first. But it's going to ptobsbly be the fuel pump. Common failure mode. That's how they fail. Pumps. Not the car. The car is fine.
Hi Kenneth, Have the fuel pump output pressure checked. The pressure at the test point should be more than three bar (+43 lbs per square inch) A gentle trickle is not enough, it should be a fountain! (Always wear safety googles before testing) Make sure you've connected the delivery and return pipes correctly and the pipes are not crimped or bent causing a restriction. If all is okay maybe replace the pump again. Regards John
If it were mine, I'd remove the top radiator hose from the radiator, and use a garden hose for an extension to it, and then have another garden hose ready to keep the radiator filled to the top with water. You will also need to plug the connection where the radiator hose was taken off. Take the thermostat out, it is often in the housing where the lower radiator hose attaches to the engine block. Put the housing back on without thermostat. Now, start the engine. The water pump should pump a lot of water out of the garden hose, as it tries to go to the top of the radiator. Be sure to keep the radiator full as you do this. Be blessed.

First, you must exactly locate the source of the leak. Replacing the water pump will not solve your problem if it is leaking from the lower radiator hose.
Unless if the water pump bolts came completely out and your water pump is ready to fall off (very unlikely), water pumps normally leak through a "weep" hole which at best would show as a steady trickle.
The size of leak you describe sounds more like a split radiator hose ($20 + 1 hr to install).
Should be a fuel pump relay located near te battery or on the fire wall. Best place to look is in ownes manual or a repair manual yo can get for less than $20.00 at local parts stores...Always good to have a manual...
