Unplug it and go back in and check to see if any wires are not connected or loose.also check your fuse box, make sure you have 240 volts coming to dryer.if all looks good you'll have to start checking parts with meter to see whats bad,if it was running before you touched it most likely you have a bad connection on one of the wires, check the thermal fuse wires,if you bought the element and the fuses all new check the new fuses,i've bought new parts that were bad from factory.

Heater

This is the most common reason why your dishwasher is not drying. To check this remove the toe kick, remove one wire from heating element and check ohm reading. Compare the reading to the tech sheet or service manual. If it has no continuity at all replace the element. Make sure the element is getting power. To do this connect voltmeter to each lead of the heating element then select a dry cycle you should have 120 volts if not the problem is in the control. If it does have power and does not heat up replace the element. The heating element is easy to replace

Timer/ Control

This is not as common as the heater but can fail. To check this select a dry cycle and check to see if the heating element has power if it does not replace the control If the element does have power and does not heat up replace heating element.

Got 5 minutes of hot water then cold. replaced both elements and thermos. still 5 minutes of hot water. power bill increased nearly 400% in 30 days. HELP!!! please.

When the top of the tank is hot the upper thermostat removes power from the upper heating element and transfers the power to the lower thermostat and heating element. If the lower thermostat is defective, then the lower portion of the tank will not be heated and the supply will be greatly reduced. You replaced both elements however check that the lower element is coming on after ther upper one cuts out and is acutally working.
Check for power at the upper thermostat terminals where the power is sent to the lower thermostat and heating element. If there is no power then the upper thermostat should be replaced. If there is power then check for power at the lower heating element. If there is no power at the lower heating element then replace the lower thermostat.
If there is power to the lower heating element then it should be getting hot. If it is not, maybe defective. Another possibility is a broken dip tube. Check for a broken dip tube and replace if necessary.

If the dip tube is broken, the incoming cold liquid can mix with the out going hot liquid and cause it to seem as though you are running out.

Dryer quit heating no power to element what is wrong?

The problem is most likely the thermal cut-off and the high-limit thermostat. The thermal cut-off blows when the high-limit thermostat fails and since these parts are wired in series with the heating element, power to the heating element is therefore terminated. Check the continuity of the thermal cut-off and if it reads open, replace it along with the high-limit thermostat.

You can bypass the thermal cut-off and the high-limit thermostat for troubleshooting purposes. Join together the wires of each part and insulate it properly then reconnect power. The two components indeed need to be replaced if the dryer heats up. If not and still no power to the heating element, check the continuity of the heating circuit. Check the continuity/resistance of the heating element if there's power to its terminals but doesn't heat. Replace the heating element if it reads open.

Let us know if you need further advice. Just indicate the exact model number of the dryer for accurate troubleshooting tips.

Heat does not come on

To get proper heat, keep your temp setting at +5 degree than your temp and also mode in "heat "position. If still noheat, check your heating sensor for closed circuit by an OHMs metre. It it'swith RV, check power to RV.Ifit's with heating element check power to element. If power is there but stillno heat means element defective. Replace new heating element. Thanks.
