Fuses location for craftsman 26 hp 54" deck mower

We saw to check the fuses if it won't spark or start. The lights don't come on, the battery is good. Where are the fuses, or what else could be the problem?

SOURCE: craftsman 24 hp 42 mower turn key will not start

It sounds like either the battery has failed and no longer has enough power in it or else the battery ground wire, or power wire have become disconnected, the easiest way totest the battery is to run jumpers from the battery posts to the headlights (it does not matter which wire connects where as long as all other wires are removed from the lights)and see if the light, light up and if so how bright, if it does not the battery is not holding a charge and will have to be tested to find out if it is bad or the charging system on the tractor is bad, If they light then the next thing is to connect jumper cables from the battery to the starter solonoid and ground, following color code (positive to positive, negative to negative)and then try to start it, if it does there is a break or something is disconnected between the battery and the starter solonoid. If it does not start then most likely the starter is in need of replacement. Hope This Helps Don

SOURCE: my 26 hp craftsman tractor stalls and won't start when it gets hot

being that would be a twin cylinder engine and has two sep coils does it missfire before it dies?does it have spark when it dies?does it sputter then die like it runs out of gas where the cap vent could be plugged and it vapor locks if you spark carb cleaner or starting fluid the solenoid on the bottom of the carb shutting off that should give you something to start with

SOURCE: 26 hp 54 inch craftsman mower will not cramk over. sounds like turns over once than no more. replaced battery and same issue

try you and jump start the engine direct to the starter if you have a bad battery cable it will not carry the amps needed if still no luck remove the spark plugs to see how it cranks over if spins over fine you might have a bad compression release system on the cam shaft if fluid spits out the carb could be leaking into the engine

What should I do; I have a craftsman 26 hp 54" deck yard tractor that will click but will not start?

Test starter by using jumper cables from negative pay on battery to a good ground (bare metal on the frame somewhere) and positive post to starter post ( should be a thick red wire attached to starter post. Be careful because the starter will turn bypassing all safeties. You should have the key off, parking brake on, blades disconnected. If starter turns, starter is good.

check the safety switch under the seat, it shuts off the mower when you get off. get a piece of wire, cross the wires, see if it starts
