Did you run the toner install after you replaced all of the parts???? With out running that the developer will not have toner in it. I would also try to put the old developer unit in and see if that helps...Good Luck

Model 600. Why is it dropping toner near transfer corona unit?

When is the last time the developer and drum where replaced? When the last time was a PM done? Very 250,000 copies a PM must be done? Which replaces the Corona Wires, Developer, Drum, Corona Grid, Web roller for fuser (Hot Part). Also during the PM the Tech should clean the toner out of the Waste Toner collection unit on the image unit. also clean the area around the drum and developer roller.

Showing line in printing

Are the lines white (no toner is printing on that area) or black (too much toner is printed on that area)? In the first case, you might have dirt on the developing unit, the best bet is to replace the developer and before cleaning the developing unit. If the second case is you case, you might have a broken drum (scratches on the green drum that you'll see while the right door is open) or the charging unit might be dirty; in these two cases, you should replace the drum unit. The same black lines appears if the fusing roller is scratched, in this case you should replace it. Just drop us an email at office@bizhubreset.com and we'll assist you further.

Copying appear grey

Typically gray prints are a symptom of worn out PCUs or old developer. Typically fixed by replacing the drum unit. If it is gray copies but good print quality it is an optics issue.

Im getting magenta backround on all color copies. I replaced the drum and developer, this did not change the problem

I had the same issue. I removed all the drums and DV units, removed the transfer belt and open the manual infrrd door and pulled to fuser. I found huge piles of magenta tone all over the place. Cleaned it up, put it back together and runs like a champ

What does developer replacement required means?

Hello,
the developer is magnet powder, which is mixed with toner in developer unit and it helps the toner transfer on to the drum surface.
If the developer looses his properties, the copy will have dark back side, or spots or similar problems.

On preventive maintenance, the developer, drum and drum cleaning blade are mandatory parts.

Hope that helps!

My copier is Aficio MP4500 with background after replacing drum and developer.jj

swan this model doesnt have a transfer roller its a transfer belt and even if the trasfer belt is damage the problem it would cause is that the back of the paper would be dirty.

Developer....

When developer goes bad you use more toner for one thing, but the main sign is a gray background in your copy. The print should be black but appears to be gray. The ricoh 350/450 was always noted to leak toner and developer as it runs. Check your machine and see if you see any small piles of toner, which also has developer in it, in the machine. Ther are small seals made of felt that need to be replaced if you have this problem. These seals rub against the drum sides....Good luck.

Laser Printer Problem

Do a panic stop while the machine is in the middle of processing copy. Remove the imaging unit and lift the drum cover to view the surface of the drum. If the image produced on the drum is OK (ie.no ghost image) then focus your attention on the hot rollers just before the paper exit. Otherwise your problem is the imaging unit.
