How do i fill my differential fluid in my 1998 trooper

toyota trooper, ? aghast.
DIY , and with no tools?
4wd? which end? ill guess, rear.

there are 3 ways.
on lift with power filler (in a real shop)
the silly hand pump deal for Zoned. (pump for 3 days get nowhere.
or jack it the rear bumper real high (then stands to replace jack)
keeping tires on pavement.
this get the body away from PIG, the 3rd member hypoid gear set.
i remove the filler first never last.
i then drain it.
i then take my 1qt bottle an warm it way up with hot water in a bucket
or microwave the heck out of it, (spare crappy microwave in barn not in house) the lube is toxic. so......
ok i have hot GL4. and the tip on end is cut.
i squeeze it in, so easy hot, very easy,
lots of room jacked.
, get it a try.

2002 Expedition heating

have you checked the coolant level? also the hoses after the engine has been running for a while should be more than warm, they should be hot. the in hose should be so hot you can not hold on to it for long.

you may have a plugged heater core, try removing hoses to front and rear units and use a water hose to flush, do this good, start withfront one stick hose on one hose and see what comes out the other end of the core, then which to other end of the core, you may need a small hose about 3ft to slide onto heater core end to then put hose nozzle on the other end of small hose then hit handle to force water through. do this to both cores.

Water leaking from freezer to bottom refrigerator.

sounds like the drain in the lower rear behind panel in freezer is frozen up. Remove back panel in freezer and check. If it is remove ice and pore hot water in end of drain till it runs free. if it won't run after clearing all ice check in rear of fridge behind compressor cover and find the lower end of drain and see it is blocked.

Humming in the rear end

Could be a bearing or the ring and pinion gear. I would check the fluid level of the rear end. I would stay away from it, it could be a bit pricey to fix.

2005 Dodge Ram 1500 2 w/d rear end blowing oil out front

The input shaft, gears, seal, and differential are likely toast. The normal rear end lubrication is 90 weight gear lube, not Mobil1 engine oil. The cheapest repair may be a replacement rear end from a wrecking yard--not easy in any situation. The 'whine' that you originally had could be insufficient lubrication or the ring and pinion gears could have been worn or mis-aligned. Worn bearings can also cause this problem. Hope this helps!

F150 1998 after driving four an hour turning left or right the rear end vibrates

If it were mine, i would first check the lug nuts to be tight, check the u joints on the driveshaft, drive it and feel each wheel to see if it is warmer than the other which can indicate a brake or wheel bearing problem. then I would check the end of the axle housing near the rear tires to see if one is hot, which can indicate a wheel bearing issue. I assume you have checked the differential to see that the fluid is at the proper level. A tire could also be unbalanced as well, and your ring and pinion in the rear end should not be hot at the driveshaft end. Check these things and it should help, Rick
