If it doesn't have it on the device somewhere, I would be suspect of the device.

How to hack a wifi password.

If you have set a password previously, I don't know of a way you can hack it. You are better off resetting the router and starting from scratch. If you have never set a password then the default password should apply. Depending on the brand of you router it could be "blank" or "admin" or something else. Google your router brand name for default password and user name.

I want ssid for idea net setter wireless adapter

A SSID is the name that identifies your wireless network. A wireless adapter connected to a computer will not have a SSID. Your wireless router will have one. If your setting up a new wireless network then you will want to look for the SSID with the brand name of your router or ISP name plus the last 4-5 digits of the wireless router serial number located on a sticker on the device.

I cant block facebook on my router

First, you may need to provide the brand and model number of your router, so that we could check the "Web Content Filter" feature of your router. Or, you may refer to the user manual of your router and see on how to block a web site.

Basically, you will need to access the route's web utility (WEBUI) via it's IP address > login to your router using the admin user name and password > then look for the settings. There you might find the filter.

If you could not find it, let me know the brand and model number and I will try to research it.

Thank you and good luck!

Hi, I have just been given an adpro adsl-std router but have no software to use with it - I am running XP - any suggestions where I might get hold of the correct one please?

Although it says Adpro - it's probably made by someone else. Look to see if there is a more common name on the router somewhere like netsys or motorola or whatever . . . that's the real brand.

New acer 5315

Make sure that the wireless radio/switch is enabled on your laptop if its has built in wireless and normally if your wireless router has security enabled you need to create a profile or initiate the connection. For Windows Vista go to Control Panel and Look for Network and Internet then go to Network and Sharing Center, on the upper left hand side of the window look for a task that says Manage Wireless Connection then click Add then choose "Add a network that is in range of this computer" and check if it will display na name(SSID) of your wireless router, if it does just highlight the name and click connect(if the router has encryption you may need to verify or get hold of the wireless security(WEP or WPA) key that is configured on your router. It will be most helpful if you could provide some imformation about you laptop like the windows version(XP or Vista) and the brand name of your wieless router.
