Question about Creative Labs ZEN Vision:M Digital Media Player
My player crashed. My computer stopped recognizing it. Firmware won't upgrade successfully. 1. Reformatted the player. DONE 2. Connected it to a different computer. DONE 3. Upload Firmware. DONE but won't finish successfully. Keeps on saying FIRMWARE UPGRADE ERROR. Any other possible solution out there?
There is no solution. The motherboard is now bad and needs to be replaced. You have to send it in to a professional, as the first poster said.

Try using the recory tool from the creative website. when you go to the wensite click on support and somewhere you will see a recovery tool link near the top of the page to the left.
