What is a sd card fof

If you store movies on a SD memory card you can insert the SD memory card into this player to view the movie. You may have taken a video of your children on a video camera which stored the video on the SD memory card.
For information for viewing movies/videos on a SD memory card check out page 18 on the User manual.
If you do not have a manual then you can download the user manual from this WEB site

Nikon Coolpix S8200 how do you move pictures from the internal memory to an SD card?

Hi Dee,

In theory (and assuming that you have put an SD card into the camera)...

Push the playback button (a triangle pointing to the right inside a rectangle) and then the MENU button.

You should be able to see a tab that has the same icon as the playback button. Use the direction buttons to go to that tab and then choose 'Copy'.

Now you should have two options - choose the one that has the icon with "IN" with an arrow pointing to an icon representing an SD card by pushing the OK button.

Now you can choose to copy either some or all of the images from the internal memory to the SD card.

In case you need anything else, the manual is available on Nikon's website here http://support.nikonusa.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/17484/~/user%27s-manual---coolpix-s8200---guide-to-digital-photography

It has pictures as well, which might make things easier (page 52 of the English version).

Good luck!

My micro sd card is locked how to unlock

Hi, i have here a photo that will show you on how to remove write protect on a micro SD.
1. You need to insert your micro SD into an adapter. 2. Unlock the micro SD through your adapter as shown below. 3. Once done, your micro SD is no longer write protected. eibraz_16.jpg

NOTE: The lock switch doesn't lock the micro SD into the adapter; The lock switch doesn't lock the data on the micro SD; The lock switch simply tells the "user" not to write. It just says "please, don't write me."

Bell & Howell S9 Slim camera. Does not seem to have internal memory of any kind. When I go to take a pic it says " No SD Card" I don't have a user manual to (1.) Find out if I can...

The camera only takes SD cards up to 2GB. Why don't you have the manual? Most companies are putting the manual on the CD that comes with their cameras to save paper.

I've bought 2 different Sd cards for my camera, and when I put them in, my camera locks up. It works fine without the Sd card.

New memory cards are to be formatted before its use.So please format the card in the camcorder itself as described in the User manual and then you can use it as usual. Please don't forget to rate me if satisfied.Good Luck

I need the user guide for my Vivicam 8340 digital camera, since I want to install an SD card on it but I don't know how to do it. Thank you, in advance!

The user guide is not available online as a download. However installing an SD card is usually pretty simple. On this camera, the SD card slot is on the bottom inside the compartment where the battery is housed. Simply slide the door open, and locate the slot for the memory card. The memory card should only go in one way, so don't try to force it. If it doesn't fit fairly easily try turning the card around. Remember: the gold pins on the card go into the camera!

Took sd card out to put photos on computer. put it back in the camera and it only says no image when i tried to look at them. they are still on sd card cos they show on computer xx jv100 camera xx

I suggest that you make sure that you have successfully copied the photos to your computer from the SD card and then use the camera's format feature to reformat the SD card for the camera.
There's really no reason that you need to keep all of your photos on the SD card all of the time. As long as you backup your pictures and other data on your computer regularly, they will remain safe.
I found that the directions to format the SD card appear on page 75 of the user manual for this camera (click here for manual).
Thanks for using FixYa!
