Most likely something got corroded inside of the motherboard, shorting out a component or two. Your only solution will be to open it up and clean it with a soft toothbrush or something similar. If that doesn't work, I guess you'd have to replace specific components on the board and that's no easy task...
I have salt water damage to my razr and got it repair'd (the repair shop used chemicals and dryed it out)3days later i had the same problem. The buttons would not work at all.
now they are telling me the LCD is short'd out..Payed 27.00 for the repair and now 55.00 for the LCD repair...only time will tell if it works for awhile...

If it's at the point where the screen isn't working properly, it's dead. If you have some kind of extended warranty, it may cover it, but there's no real way to bring it back from being water damaged, unfortunately.
Really your only option is to get a different phone. Since there is water damage it voids your warranty so you would have to turn to insurance. If you don't have insurance you may be able to do an upgrade or you would have to buy one outright. If you can't do that than you can get a prepaid phone and put you sim in that and it will work.
Call your phone company. Sounds defective to me. Have them replace it or exchange it. No insurance required. I did it multiple times. 3 way calling also doesn't work wiht razors lol Sorry your having so much trouble with it, hope I helped you!
I know you don't want to here this, so be kind with your rating, but the best solution is a new phone. The reason is this: no matter what you do, water is a conductor and the dried residue it leaves behind will also short things out. And water will get to places that you can't.
this happened to me for more then 3 seconds in water for the razor, turn off the phone, remove the battery and SIM card, let it sit in a dry place over night, and check again next day, it should be fully functional
yes it is bad
getting hot means that the internals are frying or shorting out
leave the battery off of it for about a week then try it again.
I really don't like your chances of it working properly again though.
If i am not wrong E6 of Motorola was launched recently , U will need to approach Service Center . As no one Online will be able to solve u r problem.
The problem is between u r sim reader & Main Circuit , so it is better to approach Service Center
you may have some junk in the connectors of your phone pluggin or the charger clean it with an eraser the square kind, see if the pins are bent other wise you may not have the right charger or a bad one and you should probably get a new one.
