Question about FixYa Service
Posted by Anonymous on
If you are a service professional and looking for new clients, you can sign up for Fixya Pro (visit the site: Be seen when locals need you most) which allows you to search for problems in areas of expertise in your service area. This allows you to reach out to potential customers (with problems your business services) and generate leads for your business.

In the past you could, but the premium expert services have since been discontinued and Fixya is a free site for everyone.
Hope that helps!

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Hi achintya1915, welcome to FixYa. While you can earn some money as a regular Expert by answering Marketplace Questions (see below for more info), you will have to get approved as a Premium Expert in order to access the vast majority of our paying questions. I see that you have already applied to be a Premium Expert. While you are waiting, you should review our criteria for Premium Experts- http://www.fixya.com/support/r2607184-fixya_looks_in_premium_expert. Make sure that all your recent solutions meet those criteria. As for what you are currently seeing, those are Marketplace Questions. They indicate questions where the asker has indicated their willingness to pay for a successful solution, but have not actually submitted payment. They are a good way to try out providing Premium-level support, but do not represent the bulk of the paying questions on FixYa. Please feel free to contact our Support Team directly at: http://www.fixya.com/contact

Hi fixyamaster,The solutions that receive the most Thumbs Up are usually at the top. However, since the asker's vote is weighted proportionally higher in the displayed rating, a question that has actually received many Thumbs Ups from other users will have a lower displayed rating if the asker gave it a low vote. See this Tip of mine for more details on our rating system: How FixYa's Ratings Work Please feel free to contact our Support Team directly at: http://www.fixya.com/contact

Testimonial: "Great (also nice picture Lauren)"
I'm waiting for approval too. I believe FixYa! approves an individual to be a premium expert in an least 2 weeks. They base it from the quality of your answer. $1500, you can earn as much as this in less than a month after you are approved to be a premium expert. Just imagine, every chat support you provide is equal to $5-$10. Answer 10 chats per day and you'll get $100 more or less. Good luck to us!
Have a good one!

Welcome to FixYa! There's a brand new way for Experts to earn money here. It's called the Marketplace, and it puts you in control. You set up service pages and ads offering to solve specific issues. The ads will be displayed to customers, who will purchase assistance from the Expert of their choice.
In the Marketplace, you can:
