If you are a service professional and looking for new clients, you can sign up for Fixya Pro (visit the site: Be seen when locals need you most) which allows you to search for problems in areas of expertise in your service area. This allows you to reach out to potential customers (with problems your business services) and generate leads for your business.

In the past you could, but the premium expert services have since been discontinued and Fixya is a free site for everyone.

Hope that helps!

Hi there,
Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

Here's a link to this great service

Good luck!

SOURCE: How do we get paid by Fixya for answering questions?

Hi achintya1915, welcome to FixYa. While you can earn some money as a regular Expert by answering Marketplace Questions (see below for more info), you will have to get approved as a Premium Expert in order to access the vast majority of our paying questions. I see that you have already applied to be a Premium Expert. While you are waiting, you should review our criteria for Premium Experts- Make sure that all your recent solutions meet those criteria. As for what you are currently seeing, those are Marketplace Questions. They indicate questions where the asker has indicated their willingness to pay for a successful solution, but have not actually submitted payment. They are a good way to try out providing Premium-level support, but do not represent the bulk of the paying questions on FixYa. Please feel free to contact our Support Team directly at:

SOURCE: How are answered ranked? I see that some answers

Hi fixyamaster,The solutions that receive the most Thumbs Up are usually at the top. However, since the asker's vote is weighted proportionally higher in the displayed rating, a question that has actually received many Thumbs Ups from other users will have a lower displayed rating if the asker gave it a low vote. See this Tip of mine for more details on our rating system: How FixYa's Ratings Work Please feel free to contact our Support Team directly at:

SOURCE: How long does Fixya take to approve an expert

I'm waiting for approval too. I believe FixYa! approves an individual to be a premium expert in an least 2 weeks. They base it from the quality of your answer. $1500, you can earn as much as this in less than a month after you are approved to be a premium expert. Just imagine, every chat support you provide is equal to $5-$10. Answer 10 chats per day and you'll get $100 more or less. Good luck to us!

Have a good one!

SOURCE: I answered many questions on fixya. now how can i

Hi lohitharcot, Welcome to FixYa! There's a brand new way for Experts to earn money here. It's called the Marketplace, and it puts you in control. You set up service pages and ads offering to solve specific issues. The ads will be displayed to customers, who will purchase assistance from the Expert of their choice. In the Marketplace, you can:

  • Set your own prices
  • Provide support via email, chat, phone, or locally
  • Work exclusively with customers until the problem is solved
  • Set your own listing fee, which you do not pay unless you make a sale!
As a special promotion, you do not have to pay any listing fee for the first month after the Marketplace launches to customers, for all services created prior to launch. We'll be launching to customers as soon as enough services have been created to ensure coverage. Get started creating services today, so you can take advantage of our special offer! Hi there,

To begin earning money using FixYa, you need to sign up and begin answering questions. You need to advance to a Premium Expert to start earning money so you can solve questions.

To sign up, go to the website and click the link on the right hand side of that screen that says: 'Become and expert'. You can then sign up and begin answering questions.

Unknown. I stopped answering the Premium questions as it seemed there were so many people jumping on them. I find I get more satisfaction in the freebie areas.
Do you have any where you were given the credit for it and not received money? I can't help but wonder if they think they get the money just for posting an answer as opposed to posting THE answer the customer selected? Interesting to find out about this even if I'm not in it for the bucks.
