It sounds as if you might have an air lock/air bubble in your pump circuit. If you've not already done so, try holding the trigger on your high pressure nozzle for several minutes with the engine OFF. (just your water pressure forcing water through the unit) Repeat this a couple of times, if necessary. If an air bubble is the problem, this should clear it.
The only other thought I have is one of your household water pressure...is it adequate? Low water pressure at your faucet could also be a factor. Consult your manual. It should specify the minimum pressure for your washer to function properly, probably stated in gallons/minute.
if this solution helps you any way rate it as "fixya". feel free for further assistance. thanks for using fixya

Is there a water leak from the bottom ?
Is so, then there maybe a small crack in the seam of the plastic manifold pump housing or one of the connecting fittings. A New Manifold Complete about $61.00. You may purchase direct from Karcher, and replace if you are mechanically inclined.
If under 1 year old, and you can find a receipt, Karcher will replace the whole Pressure washer under warranty.
