Question about Cub Cadet Garden
The lawn mower will drive, but it doesn't drive as fast as it should, when you go up a grade it acts as if it doesn't want to drive forward, and if you brush a bush when cutting grass, it almost stops and vibrates like it doesn't want to drive. My Dad checked the fluid level and said it is okay. He couldn't find or see anywhere where there is a filter on this mower. What should be done? What is the expected problem?

SOURCE: RIDING LAWN MOWER STUCK IN GEAR
Have someone to rock you while you attempt to move gear shift. Hopefully it is only stuck between gears and will disengage. Your grease in gearbox may have become hard causing problems. If you wash the gearbox with water when hot (after mowing) You may have created moisture in gearbox causing major damage to transmission.

just rewind the spring starting with the outer end and fill it back into unit. I always have the rope extended and rewind it back in and reinstall
