Question about Stihl Concrete Cutoff Saw Carburetor Ts 700 800 Hs

Open Question

The ts 700 saw we have won't cut a straight line due to blade wobble, where do i look for the problem?

We've used different manufacturers blades and they all wobble. It will cut straight for a couple of feet and then the wobble starts.

SOURCE: Stihl gas powered cut off

It sure sounds like a bearing gone bad or one or 2 of the cap screws at the blade end have come lose or the cap screw closest to user end is stripped.

SOURCE: Hi, My Stihl TS400 with 14"

Racing on a 2 cycle engine is usually a sign of a lean condition. It could be caused by a few different things including a bad crank seal or a torn intake manifold as some are made out of rubber. I would remove the cutter arm then pull the muffler to inspect the cylinder and piston. If they are scored it will be a costly repair.

SOURCE: stihl ts 350 super cut saw died in the middle of cutting a brick

i am doing one right now (ts350). I had no spark. 2 problems there. I had to replace on/off switch do to dust making it malfunction. still no spark so I had to replace the Ign. module. got great spark now. It's not cheap either ($226.00 canadian) had to order it from a dealer. Now I have no fuel getting to the cylinder so I have more work ahead of me. I hope this helps if you only have a no spark problem. It's about a 6 on the skill level.

The blade is wobbling on my Fleetwood meat slicer EF12 Slices look like waves.

check that the problem is not from the way the blade is mounted on the shaft
any thing between the blade and the backing hub of the shaft will make the blade wobble so check for burrs , bad fitting parts or the like at the blade center
new bearings , shaft and hub are new but is the hub on the shaft straight

Clippers not cutting

It is not unknown for a sharpen to be no good, anyone can turn out a bad sharpen. Look for correct blade assembly, check that there is sufficient pressure holding the blades together, check there is no missing stroke. Check the blade is secure and not wobbling. If the above are OK I would buy a new blade. You could also return the blade with the clipper for the sharpener to test for themselves.

Each prop shaft from different manufacturers is removed diferently. But- once out - a press with a couple wood blocks can straighten it provided it is just a slight wobble. If the prop can not be put on, it should be replaced.

While its out check the area the seal rides and see if it is worn badly. If a deep grove and it's shedding metal, you should replace it. I've had no luck with "speedy sleeves" in a marine environment.

I have a 1996 ST1100 non ABS with a front end wobble. It seems to have started when I switched from bias ply tires to radial tires. However in the mean time I went ahead and had the steering stem bearings...

problems like this are best discussed with an accredited bike shop who has experience with wheel wobbles
you have changed the front tire to radial but did you change the back tire at the same time as radials and cross ply ( bias ply) tires have different handling characteristics
the wobble may be like a lack of compatibility between case constructions and I am thinking this because you say that the problem goes when changing back to the bias ply

The top of the main shaft is probably broken. There are 2 pins that hold the "head" for the main blades straight and are probably sheared off. This is causing the balance bar to hit the blades and cause it to crash. You could try the crash kit here: http://www.helipal.com/spare-part_v-max-parts_syma-s107.html

Will not cut straight anymore, blade wobbles blade is not old

There are a couple reasons why the blade is wobbling. Either the diamonds are glazed over because the material you are cutting is way to hard or the blade is very thin and when metal gets hot it expands and when you make a longer rip cut it will tend to wobble. I sell blades for a living and i can almost gurantee this is the reason

Not cutting in straight line

Normally blade overheating. Improper blade or too few teeth for material, teeth not sharp and/or offset enough for proper width of cut. Teeth must cut wider than blade. Inexpensive blades tend to do this quickly. Other possibility: Bad bearing, check for play with saw unplugged. Blade should have little wobble. Other possibility: Saw body cracked/damaged(allowing shaft to skew) or very cheap saw unable to handle material

Wobble blade /rough cuts

You may wanna check the Conveyor Cart Wheel. Replacing this wheel maintains smooth rolling action which contributes to straight, chip-free cuts.

It costs for only about $28.72. Here, you may check this link if you wish to buy the Conveyor Cart Wheels:

http://www.diamond-blades.net/target_tile_saw_access.html

Unfortunately, I couldn't find any service center where you can bring your Target Tile saw for repair. But you may check the manufacturer's contact number on the user's manual.

Have a great day!
