Restore your device to factory settings

Step 1 has two links:
one that shows you how to do a factory reset using your computer and iTunes, with your iPad attached to the computer. The other link show you how to do a factory reset without your iPad attached to a computer and using iTunes.
The first thing that you need to do is to reset the router. The reason why you need to reset the router because that will help you to fix the problem and to know the main problem/issue.
Steps
To perform a factory reset:
On the back of your router, locate the Restore Factory Settings or Reset button.
Using a paper clip or similar object, press and hold the Restore Factory Settings or Reset button for about seven seconds.
Release the Restore Factory Settings or Reset button and wait for your router to reboot.
After your router is finished with the factory reset, the Power light stops blinking and lights solid green.
Note: The Power light on newer router models lights solid white.
The factory default settings are restored.
Note: Once you reset the router it will be back to factory default settings and you need to setup the internet connection settings on to your router
Once your done with the hard reset try connect your computer and if your computer will have the same issue connecting to the router it only means that the problem is on your computer / try to connect other device first before you reset the router
Usually on computer resets with factory specs. If they fail it is because of an internal problem. I work on many computers, mostly cars. When the factory reset fails it is because the computer your trying to reset, has a problem. When I trace it back to a main chip. I throw it away.
When Factory Reset is performed, the setup value will factory default setting
