Water panel not getting wet

Is there 24 volts at the solenoid valve when blower motor is running? If there is water at the inlet side of valve then either the solenoid is bad or it is not receiving 24 volts.

Wire feed speed problem

Check the speed control board's voltage from the fan. If you are below 20 volts, 1- oil the cooling fan bushings to see if that helps. Otherwise adding in a discrete 24 volt 1 ro 1.5 Amp "control" transformer and a 2 ohm 50 Watt resistor in place of the fan's 24 volt tap (it rarely gets to 24 volts) should bring your speed up.

This does assume the board is fully functional.

You need to check inside the set to see if the main board has 5 volts going to it on one of the white fuses on the board. If it does then it is likely that the main board (one with all the jacks) is not turning on the power supply to the inverter board so the screen will light. To confirm the power supply is working you need to check for the 12 volts and 24 volt from the power supply plug. If especially the 24 volts is there then you have a bad inverter board. Usually located on one side of the chassis. Check for domed capacitors. A capacitor is a cylinder shaped component with a positive and negative connection. A bad one will be pooched up at the top. Check the power supply for these as well and replace with the same mfd and voltage rating.

I have a programmable White Rodgers thermostat. I noticed that the room was getting warm and when I checked the thermostat the display was blank. there are no batteries. I believe it runs on 24 volt...

Hello, the thermostat reveives 24 volts from the transformer located in tne furnace via the R terminal. If there is no display on the thermostat either you are not getting power from the transformer, the thermostat itself is bad. If you have a multimeter check for 24 volts at the r and c terminals on the integrated control boatd on the furnace with the door switched taped down, if no 24 volts then the transformer is bad. If you have 24 volts then most likely your thermostat is bad. Also, if there is. 5 amp fuse on the control board check it out, sometimes they go out if there is a short in the thermostat wiring.

Condensor isn't turning on. no 24 volt between c and y

Check the voltage at the terminal board on the furnace
See if there is power between r and c
You should get 24 volts

Now check between r and y
If you have 24 volts between r and y, your thermostat is NOT working

Take the top or "head" of the thermostat.
Take the wire off that is on "y" and piggyback it on to the "r" terminal.
Put the head back on the thermostat and try to turn the air cond on
You have just bypassed the thermostat. It should work temporarily.

No lights and no display. I have verified electrical outlet is providing electricity to the unit.

Upon visual inspection of the PC board, a small portion of the board had been burned. Using a voltmeter to check components in that area, it was discovered a 24 volt zener diode was nonfunctional. I then purchased two 12 volt zener diodes (no 24 volt was available), and installed / soldered them, in series, on the PC board. I then reassembled the Gevalia cm 500 unit and made delicious coffee. What remains unknown is what precipitated the failure of the 24 volt zener diode.

Since you have 24VAC, put a jumper between “R” and “W”, you should hear a relay click from the control board, this is for the inducer motor, if you don’t have 120VAC at the board, you have a faulty control board, it’s the same scenario if you do NOT hear a click.

Hope this helps
