no such thing. HP never publishes trade secrets. sorry. why would they, be silly to. with rabid cloners now.

might take a week of labor googling just to find zero.
not me, im too savvy to do that.
if the tubes are bad put in new ones if the HV supply is dead
new main board. (many of the parts are made by contracts and the numbers are as a secret, (non JEDEC or JAN numbers etc. ISO)

page 25 tells me its CCFL lamps with mercury warning,,,, yup
and all are burned out this old, if used, lots.
20,000 hours is a short life, if you divide by 24,
full time used.

House took lighting strike and my LCD TV will not power up. Have TV apart and the fuse is good. Heat sinks are warming up and do not see any burnt spots or blown capacitors.


All the ICS on the boards are dead.Replaced the power supply board,it dead.Be prepare to replaced the Tuner board too.50% it dead also.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy refurbishes boards like the power supply board and the Tuner board.

No power-up only the little green light by the cpu lights up


I tried Parveens solution for this problem on 2 absolutely dead D845GVSR mother boards and it fixed the problem for me on both. On mine you had to permanantly short pins 92 & 93 of the LPC47M172 IC near the ddr ram slots.

There must be a reason for why the motherboard went dead in the first place because from the factory, pins 92 & 93 of this IC are not meant to be shorted. Albeit the motherboards work perfectly the shorting of pins on this IC get over the problem but the original fault is still really there but has been bypassed! Still having said that, what a result!

Power is dead


You cannot get a replacement board. The IC has to be replaced , possibly 3. These are U24 , U25 , U26. You would need specialist tools and ability to do it yourself.
