You're out of luck, Microsolutions went out of business long before the introduction of Windows 8.1. If this is a scsi drive, you will need the driver for the scsi card only. Once installed, the system will automatically pick up the drive during boot.
mcdevito75 here, If your useing a cd the software may already be installed in the computer, click start the prgrams and see if software is already loaded. Lots of time the software you seek can be loaded directly form the software site on your computer.
1) You can have a DVD installed in your computer. Usually around $50.
2) You can purchase a flash drive (thumb drive) of at least 4GB. Depending on the size of the files, you may need an 8GB. You can have a friend copy the entire DVD onto the flash drive. Then you can take the flash drive and copy the entire DVD from the flash drive to your computer and install the program or install directly from the flash drive. (It may auto start when you insert it into a USB port.)
If you install it from the flash drive you will probably have to insert it every time you run the program. If you copy the DVD to your hard drive you will not have to and it will run faster.

The Samsung X05 was released 2004 and the NVIDIA Geforce 4 should be fine.

hope this helps

The deluxe version comes automatically as a CD compatible disc. As far as I can tell, the normal version comes only on DVD. http://www.novadevelopment.com/products/Greeting_Card_Factory_Deluxe_7/default.aspx?gclid=CNiAqJ-BxJsCFR0SagodmmWhBA
Its possible that the game is on a dvd and your computer only has a CD Rom drive. It should say on the front of the drive on your computer what it is. Chipset is the video card inside the pc (Either ATI or Nvidia)
You may need updated drivers. Try downloading the latest drivers for your soundcard. If you are using Windows Vista make sure you download the vista drivers as most Windows XP drivers will not work with Vista. Hope this helps.
do you still have the other hard disk? Is xp installed there? Then you can use the old disk as master and the new disk as slave disk. Don't you have another hard drive? Then you just need your xp cd and put it in your cd drive. start computer and installation will automatically start. Make sure BIOS is set to boot from cd
