It is not flickering. It is horizontal rolling. Picture rolls horizontally at a very high speed, and you see it to be flicker. Total loss or horizontal synchronization signal is the fault, and it is related to its chroma processor IC. It is very skilled work to troubleshoot this section, and user can't do this with ease.
