Question about Canon PIXMA iP90v Printer
My printer is not working. That is, the green light shows it´s working, but when trying to print, it shows that it is printing, but nothing happens. I went to a repair-store and they used another cable and it worked. Bought myself a new cable after that and it worked. However, after one day, it all started over again. The indicator shows that it´s inactive. If you have any form of useful suggestions, I really would appreciated it, because this is really frustrating :(((
Thank very much in advance!
If the printer is fine then the problem should be in your computer. Therefore, i suggest reinstalling the printer driver and after that you should be able to print normally.

Your print head is most probably blocked.
First try and run the deep cleaning program a few times, it make penetrate deep enough to get through.
If that doesn't work you can either replace the print head or try and clean it.
To clean it you could soak it in a mixture of window cleaner and water (filtered best), but don't let the electronics get wet by this and try to avoid wetting the rubber seals where the ink tanks go get wet by this too, it should only soak the very bottom part of the head.
Let it dry off and wipe any residue with a soft cloth especially on the bottom where the print heads actually are. You may need to soak it a few times to get all the gunk out.

I have a similar problem saying that the cartridge was not installed. Try winding the film on until you can just see the yellow film and try printing again. This normally fixes my problem for that print run, but the problem seems to regularly re-occur. Hope this helps.

To solve this problema, proceed with LF correction procedure, which is well documented on Canon IP4300 simplified service manual (it can be found at Emule network). This procedure prints some patterns and the user has to choose the best among them. One of them will probably enough to compensate (or, at least, to minimize the problem to the point that naked eyes can't observe it) the line feeding error which causes dark horizontal lines along the printer lifetime (probably because of feed roller wearing).

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
