Question about Audio Players & Recorders
I bought this mp3 player two years ago and it worked great but recently I am having a problem with the battery, it keeps draining too fast even though I set the display settings like the manual suggested to prolong the battery life. what can I do make the battery last longer?
The battery could be worn out.
Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles and
will lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% and
gradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR The
battery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the battery
drops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to an
unacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced.
Rechargeable batteries will fail if stored in a discharged state for long periods.

Just bought one and figured it out. On these mp3 players the default option when you turn them on is to go to the folder of files that are recorded using the microphone. hold the menu button down and you'll see a number of options. use the track skip buttons to navigate left and right and select the music option and press the menu button to select it. once you're in the music folder it will turn on to music. plug it in to usb and drag any .mp3 file to the folder in explorer and it should play. if your songs aren't playing make sure you convert them to .mp3 files before loading them.
