Im getting message problem accessing fonts section of the registry when trying to load quick books 2000 on hp laptop running vista. It was on this same computer at one time. had to restore hard drive back to original and am now trying to reload the quick books software.

First remove any new, or unnecessary hardware, extra mouse / keyboard / monitors / dongles / and even the battery.
Try again, and if possible, get into 'safe mode' by pressing F8.
If it is stable in safe mode, you at least can try removing devices under, START / CONTROL PANEL / SYSTEM / HARDWARE / DEVICE MANAGER. Then whilst disabling various devices, try booting again into normal mode, and obtain a new, AND correct driver for whatever piece of hardware was deemed to be at fault.

press on the icon at the right click and then go to the properties choose customize from the folder pictures restore default. and wish you good luck

Try this: Reboot and select Recovery Mode, then from the c:\windows prompt type: chkdsk
Let it run through checkdisk then try it should boot up.

Its ram problem,so first if you can access the bios check if your ram are been recognized and load default bios settings.If are OK in bios remove RAM and reinstall again.If the problem still exists try again testing your Ram with the Microsoft program or with that.
If the programs founds an error you RAM are damaged and replace them.
