Panasonic Viera. The TV went off & I got 4 blinking red lights. Installed new power supply. I plugged it in & it made 2 clicks but still will not turn on. I'm still getting 4 blinking lights.Any ideas

Great set - you were on the right track but ........
U will have to do what I did on these new sets. Google has dynamite blogs on the workings of these sets, what each board does, and what are the symptoms of a problematic board. Knowing exactly what your tv is doing and not doing you can use these guides as a wonderful way of finding out what other boards could be at fault besides just your power supply. U have nothing to lose and all to gain with the free info. Good luck.

Top light is flashing and the winner paid LED is 12. I believe that it may be the 3.6 v lithium battery on the CPU board? And if so where is the CPU board located?

Look at the mother board. The battery is round, flat and about 3/4 of an inch, contained in a plastic holder with tabs on the top side of th board. It probably is a CR-2032. This is the battery. Take the old and and replace with the new.

How to unlock bios of toshiba portege m500

two options

1. look on the mother board for a small round battery about the size of a nickle, remove it, start pc, after start up shut down, replace battery, start up again... or remove battery, let sit for about 30min, replace battery start pc.

2. look for a small red or yellow toggle switch or button on the mother board, (should say "reset bios") push button, restart pc.

i assume this is a lap top so there will be some disassembly of the unit, not to extreme though, usualy the battery and the switch/button are next to one another and located toward the front of the mother board, and if in lap tops the battery or batteries are in a plastic covering wired to the mother board with a small connector, just unplug connector if you cant find the reset button.

hope that helps

My Laptop DV6000EU in Aug 2007. Warrenty on Mother board

it should be under waranty seeing that the motherboard is malfunctioning again. normally the hardware will go out before the motherboard and seeing that its the same problem again mark the motherboard in a nice little place with a marker to insure they are not doing a repair and giving you back the same faulty board.

Pc starting problem

There is a battery on you motherboard and it needs to be replaced. Usually it's a large round lithium battery. If you replace that it should go to default.

Yes, if replacing the cmos battery does not solve it, then maybe the power supply also is faulty.
