Re: how to disasemble the unit ?

It is very simple. Just go to the bottom side of your laptop and check under the door that is about 2.5 in by 4.5 in and remove the cover. pull the screws that hold it down and slide it back and out. It may have a special adapter . mark how it goes on and remove it. put the adaptor on the new hard drive and reinstall it just as you removed the old one. Fasten it down and replace the cover. Now you are ready to boot your computer and install your operating system.

Erroe Code 0146 (Dell Inspiron E1505) MSD Unit 0 DST Log contains previous error. ???

Hi ! Error code is this error code 2000 - 0146??? if that is the error message you have to contact dell technical support to replace the hard drive because that error code mean that the hard drive is already faulty. You can Reinstall the Hard drive as well but it is not guarantee that it will fix the issue. Most of the time dell will send a hard drive replacement for that kind of message if the system is still in warranty it will be free but if not you have to pay for the replacement. Hope this will help you . God Bless!

Error code how can I fix it error 1000-0141 on dell inspiron 1501

This error code indicates the issue with the Hard Drive.
As per the resources available now, it is clear that the Hard Drive is failing.
It would be better to backup all the important Data before the Hard Drive crashes.
Once you have backed up all the Data, it would be better to replace the Hard Drive.
If you have the Technical Specifications and Hard Drive Replacement instructions, you may replace the Hard Drive by yourself.
It is recommended to get the Hard Drive replaced at the Service Center.

Hope this helps.

How to replace Acer Aspire 5630 Hard Drive

The link below gives you the user manual. On the computer views is the base view which will show you the correct bay on the bottom of the computer. You will loosed the screws to that bay, remove the cover andl you will see the hard drive. Althought I have not removed this particular laptop hard drive, these drives usually pull up or back using a tab provided. The hard drive will probably have a cradle the actual drive is connected to. You will have to removed the old drive from this cradle and put the new drive back on the cradle exactly the way the old drive was attached,

I hope that this information helps and gives you a place to start solving your issue.
