SOURCE: Vulcan Eco 80 Ducted Heater. Fan Runs

Heaters have fans to enable the unit cool down to avoid overheating in the unit. The fans are meant to blow air into the unit at strategic positions. Most units are made such that the fan comes on when the units temperature rises to a certain level and when the temperature drops the fans are supposed to stop. temperature sensors are fitted into the unit to regulate this system to create a balance in the unit. The sensors are supposed to switch the fan on when needed and also turn it off when it is supposed to. If the sensors are bad then the fan continues to run until power is cut from the unit or if the switch which the sensors trigger becomes bad then the fan runs continuously. Fixing this is quite technical in nature and would take an expert to determine which sensors and switches to replace exactly.
Hope this solution has been helpful?

Bonaire vulcan comfort control

No it cant really be fitted as the evap system uses much larger duct and also in some cases people use a different type of duct that when running a gas heater threw it it tends to melt with the heat. Your best option would be to get new ducting that way you can size it correctly so you dont have air alance issues down the track.

Pilot lights but won't stay on in my older style vulcan space heater. thermo couple was replaced last year.any ideas that i could try thanks

Most common cause of pilot light problems is air movement. If your space heater exhausts gas through the roof, ensure the cap is on and level. If not, outside air movement will blow out the pilot. If you do not have an exhaust gas duct, check that the unit is positioned so that it does not blow air back onto itself from walls, furniture, etc, and ensure no other devices that move air are aimed towards the unit. The unit also needs to be placed away from central ducting, including return vents.

Hope this helps!
