You cannot purchase just the high/low parts for motors. There are wires going from the controls to the high side and the low side of the motor.

The high beams on my 1981 Toyota diesel pick do not work. When I switch to high beam it's darkness. Ideas?

Buy dual beam light bulbs. When a single bulb is installed or the dual bulb got the high beams burned. It wont work.. Also check if the switch of the low-high beam is working properly. To make it easy. Buy a dual bulb and try it. Good luck

2002 hyundai santa fe fuel filter location

Fuel filter is inside fuel tank. It is an integral part of the fuel pump. It can be replaced but ONLY by very qualified mechanics. Fire explosion risk is too high.

Went to warm up my car and switched my low beams off. when I got ready to drive off switched low beams back on and wouldn't come on. High beams work but no lows. already changed bulbs

Your dimmer switch is bad (lever used to flip between hi/low beams) they're only plastic and they go bad. Before you change check fuses, buy I highly suspect dimmer switch.

2003 Kia Sedona replaced low beam bulbs checked fuses still won't work high beams n fog lights work can u help

IF THERE IS NO POWER AT EITHER LOW BEAM LIGHT SOCKET & YOU ARE SURE ABOUT THE FUSES, SWAP THE WORKING HIGH BEAM BULBS WITH THE LOW. IF THAT DOESN'T DO IT YOU NEED TO REPAIR OR REPLACE THE BEAM SELECT SWITCH, { DIMMER SWITCH } KNOWN AS THE COMBINATION SWITCH, UNDER THE STEERING WHEEL. CAN USUALLY BE DONE WITHOUT PULLING THE STEERING WHEEL. TEST BEFORE BUYING, MAY BE COSTLY. GOOD LUCK , DR.VOLT

My heat in my cutlass supreme turns off when i switch the switch to high but works on low

Three possibilities. AND all you can do yourself!
1. Hi/Low Blower Relay. However these usually fail on low and works on High.
2. Blower Control Switch.
3. Blower Motor Resistor.
If you do not have one: buy a Voltmeter, available for $6 at Walmart.
If you do not have one: buy a Haynes or Chilton Manual at most auto parts stores for $20-$25 dollars. I say this because you are obviously going to keep this vehicle. It will have most of the information with pictures to assist you.
Quickest way to determine which one?
Finding the Resistor....Go on line to autozone.com or advanceauto.com. Answer the questions on year, make, model and engine and go to "look up parts" or click on "Replacement Parts".
Pull up the Hi/Low Blower Relay.
Know you know what you are looking for.
This Relay is located near the Blower Motor.
The System goes: Switches, Relay and/or Resistor, Motor.
Unplug the electrical connection from the Switches going to the Relay.
Turn the engine on. Turn the Selector to Low and using a voltmeter, check for voltage coming from the Switch. Turn to High and rechaeck for voltage coming fom the Switch. No voltage on High? The Switch is bad.
Do the same with the Relay to Resistor connection and or Relay/Resistor to Motor connection. Check the Low and the High voltages.
Let me know if this helped or if you have additional information or questions. Feel free to contact me at FixYa.com!

Low Beam headlights don't work. High Beam work fine and diriving lights work as well.

hi from uk provided you have checked bulbs are ok? then this fault may be the relay for the low /dipped beam has gone faulty if you check h/book you may find location of low beam relay there is relay for high and one for low beams if you find both relays ? try switching? this will confirm relay fault if you then have low beam but no high ? b4 you buy new relay other than tis the other possible fault may be the actual di/high beam stick control ?

test with a gauge to make sure it's in safe range.

Is the a/c clutch cycling on and off more than 4 times/minute? If yes, you ares till low.

Do not overcharge or you could damage compressor.
