Unable to turn on and showing red light

short answer is your battery is dead and needs to be replaced. It is hoped you didn't short out the charging port within the phone itself... It is doubtful but can happen..

I just bought a T303 Sony Ericsson I pluged it in to recharge it and a red light come on but no light come on the screen when Iunplug it from the charger.

check your power switch bottonm or change your battery...
if not happen. .i think the program of your mobile is need to repair or need reprogram

This happenned to me too, here's what I did:

- plugged in the charger WITHOUT the battery inside,
- then put in the battery (while still plugged in).
- The phone came back to life and works fine now.

ok so what u basically do is just keep the charger in the usb port. then take the battery out then plug it back in. this totally works!

not to worry this is a fixable problem..............take te phone to a mobile shop and have them reflash the firmware n custom pack back into the phone and this will correct the problem....the erom needs to be loaded back on the phone.

normally many cell phones requires 6-10hrs for its batter to fully charge up. also i have seen it where battery can be brand new but doesn't have enough juice to hold the charge.
now as far as red light on charger, remember even if you have 99% charged batter and you plug in the charger it will show you red light on phone/cradle.

FYI- all brand new phones are covered with 30 days of warranty replacement with new phone. after 30 days it covers upto 1 year from the date of purchase with refurbished phones.

In your case i think it is just the battery, try having your provider replacing new battery if no luck again then my suggestion will be to replace your phone with new battery with in 30 days.

you have mentioned that ur phone is charging and not getting on. that means ON\OFF path is having problem .due to dry solder of ON\OFF switch its happening. please resolder it and then check it

if it show fully battery also when u charge your battery it show from the red indicate only tht is not a problem... u need to charge the battery fully ... untill the msg shown as charge complet .. so need not to worry about the Red blinking battery indicator when you plug in charger.
