The switch was burnt out and thay tried to replace it but the wires are not right the motor will only hum i think it is not wired right can you help ?
I have mine apart right now, i could send you a picture
I did some Research and Came up with the King Canada Website, where they Show your Table Saw. You may wish to go to that site, and Click on "Contact Us" and send them a Request for the Proper wiring of Their 220V Motor...Here's the Link for Their Site:

As far as a 220V Motor Wiring goes, 3 Leads works since you have 2 Hot Leads(Black & Red), 1 Neutral Lead(White). as Far as a Capacitor (probably 2 Black wires) goes That should be Pre-Wired into the Motor coming off the Lugs for Your Wiring to...Should NOT be a 2-Stage Motor Connect to, but you may be referring to a Mag-Starter(sounds to me Like someone was trying to do Step-down Voltage)

In all Honesty "IF" I were you, I would do the "Contact Us" @ the Link I Provided, and Let King Tell you How They Have Their Motor Wired for Your Application. Good Luck. Let me Know How you make out.

there is 3 wires coming out of the motor 1 black 1 red and a white there is a capaster and a nother black box with 3 pins on it but i am thinking this is a 2 stage motor it starts on 1 cap and the runs on the other i think this is were thay went wrong it might be the same wireing as another saw but i cant find it tks joe
Can't find anything on King Canada either. Is this a simple switch with 4 lugs on it if so what I would do is check it with a meter to determine the on off side and put the power cord on the off side and motor leads on the open. That is the way the DeWalt saw is wired. your motor should only have 2 leads anything more and DONT wire the way I suggested, get back with me and I will try more research. Good Luck
What is the BRAND, I never heard of King, I need that and the exact model number, and yes you are probably right the saw is not wired correctly.
