Question about OKI C9600hdn Laser Printer
Hi i have bought the oki c9655 and the pink is not printing well ,it is more a dirty peach colour,i dont no if its because my inkjet has lovely vivid colour which i no lasers arnt as good but i have been dissapointed so many times with this printer.they are the toners that came with it and has moved down 1 bar so it cant be they need replaced ,is there any way to make it nice bright pink? the darker oranges and reds print lovely hope some one can help mandy
Seen this many times. Its because you are using recycled drums and/or toner. With the genuine items you will find the magenta will be more red than pink.

Check the little switch/door on the right hand side of the drums.
This has worked successfully for me.
After replacement of a C3530 Image Drum, the message, "Toner Sensor Error" is displayed.
The plastic shutter in the ID is fully or partially covering the toner sensor window.
Move the cover upward to allow for the sensor to become fully exposed prior to reinstalling the drum.

SOURCE: OKI B6300 Drum problem
Hello, com_jedi. I would suggest you contact the OKI Customer Support line in order to address this issue. The phone number is 1-800-654-3282 (800-OKIDATA). For your model unit you would hit options 1 then 4 to get to mono support.
It is possible that you purchased a defective consumable and OKI warranties them for 90 after the date of purchase. If this is a new drum/toner it may need to be replaced to determine if it was a bad chip in the cartridge or if there is some other issue with the unit that is causing the error.
It is also possible there is a misalignment with the sensor that is located under the drum unit. A support tech can walk you through the troublehshooting as it would be a bit difficult to do here.
I hope this helps!

The counters reset when you install the new drums. Did you purchase Oki drums or were they after market drums..that could be the problem.
