This worked for me with Vista
Microsoft Download Center
Hotfix for Windows look for file KB940199 Just follow simple instuctions.

Vista will not recognise my mp3 tech mp3 player. Find new hardware wizard will not locate a driver to run it.
Download the correct driver from the MP3 manufacturer. Maybe the laptop manufacturer can help if there is not a Vista compiant driver available.

I'm running Win Vista Home Premium. My mp3 is supposed to be compatible with this OS but will not be recognized when plugged in. Am told sofware was successfully installed and searches pre configured...
did you try the samsung support and drivers site, or saying screw the software and use it as mass storage device

This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)
If you are using XP or vista you need MS media player 10 or 11. You will not need drivers see this tip posted here,

if the picture posted is what you have then you should be able to charge your mp3 player with the usb connection ...just plug it into your pc and it should charge

I need a driver for my delstar 1 GB digital mp3 player. It won't load any songs. It did load a few but now my computer says it doesn't have the driver needed & it wouldn't sync any songs.

Dell Digital Jukebox and microsoft vista
I think my trusty DELL DJ (now coming up on five years old!!) will sadly be replaced as my main mp3 player sometime this year... I love it, but no drivers!!! Perhaps I can find a way to use it as an external/portable hard/flash drive.
