I put some movies for download through torrent and lock laptop screen which is password protected just went from home to market when i came back the battery was almost dead, and computer was in sleep mode, when i turn it on and try to login i can't i try manny time and the password with i put is correct 100% but it says password is incorrect, unfortunately i already put the same passowrd on startup so now i am not able to even start computer, i cant change boot setting so i can bypass password with reset disk , i dont know what to do kindly help me

The manual says:
You cannot enter MENU by forgotten password.
- If you forget the password, you shall reset SHR-2160/2162/2080/2082 DVR to
the values set at the factory. Keep pressing both the "MODE" button and the
"PTZ" button on the left for 5 seconds, Keep pressing both the "MODE" button
and the "PTZ" button on the left for 5 seconds. The password default is "4321".

You can enter the hard reset code but that will delete everything on the
phone the code is *2767*3855# i haven't been able to find the password
reset for the F480.
The default password for the Samsung F480 is 12345678.

Do this but make sure you may wan't to lose files:
1. Turn off the i9000 phone or take out the battery and reinsert it.
2. Hold the Volume Down button
3. Press and release the Power button
4. Select Clear Storage by pressing the Volume Down button
5. Press and release the Power button
6. Press Volume Up to confirm i9000 MATER RESET

If you're still stuck. More then likely the only thing to do is a factory reset, I locked my own self out of the phone within the first 20 minutes I had it. Only after a certain amount of incorrect inputs, it put a time limit, and at the end of the time, every failed attempt doubled the amount of time I had to wait. You will lose everything on your phone if you do you do this.
1. Press and hold the Camera, Volume Down, and Power buttons simultaneously.
2. Release Power when the phone vibrates, but continue to hold down Camera and Volume Down.
3. Release Camera and Volume Down when the Format prompt is displayed on screen.
4. Press Windows logo.
5. Press Windows logo again to confirm the hard reset.
This is exactly what I did, and it worked.
