Hi, most likely the drive belt has perished. Remove platter and check belt. Cheers John.

Blowing fuses

Obviously the deck has a problem and ignoring it will not get you a working machine. The most likely issue will be a shorted capacitor in the power filter section but it could also be a bad bridge rectifier or any component down the line from the power supply that is currently shorted. If you are a Technician you will know the process of troubleshooting this and if it turns out you are not then the unit should be brought or sent to a place that can fix the problem clean the unit up and oil the motors that are long over due. I do these kinds of machine full time. If the cost of repair is not to your liking, then the only other thing to do is have a person transfer the material onto a CD or some other format for you- it might cost money but will be cheaper than a repair. I seem to come across this a lot and due to the condition of some machines, they are just too severely worn out to repair for a low price. If you can not find anyone to help you then consult the members on tapeheads.net forum as many there have the facilities and know-how to do this kind of job.
I can repair it for you if you want- I worked for Sony at two repair facilities in IL.

My 625 unit (often not always) stops early and I miss the last min or so of the show. I have set all timers to 0 early and 0 late.

Hey jimmie love,

Just a quick clarification; does this only happen on certain shows? Some channels do run late.

You can always try setting the timer to end 2-3 minutes late and see if that works. Let me know here if you have any information or if you have any questions.

I want to find the age of yamaha studiolord serial 011039

Here are some links:http://www.yamaha.com/apps/guitararchives/serialnumberwizard.asp Also:https://store.bluebookinc.com/Info/PDF/EGuitar/ElectricSerialization.pdf (scroll to the bottom) Also have a look at this forum:http://www.mylespaul.com/forums/other-les-pauls/21393-yamaha-studio-lord.html You didn't mention the model number which should be on the headstock plate that covers the truss rod adjuster. My guess is late 70s to early 1980.

I've got bunches of old crosman co2 pistols and rifles early 1960 to early 70s. Where to we go for repair in upstate ny

I don't know about the co2 guns, they usually replace them with a later model. The old pumps can still get repaired. I think crosman bought out benjamin/ sheridan, or was it the other way. anyway, they still make the repairs. I don't have their number in front of me, but you should be able to google them.

I have a bushnell 4x banner riflescope probably made in the late 70s early 80s. I have lost the cap for the top adjustment knob and I would like to replace it if possible.

call bushnell at 800-423-3537 option one and you most likely will have to send the unit in for repair for this because of it's age.
