Question about HP 610 Color Copier
I recently purchased my second 610 copier from ebay. I love the first so much, I wanted a second for my office. The 610 is used solely as a copier. The my recent purchase arrived DOA because the display reads that an original copy is loaded in the auto sheet feeder, when there is nothing in the sheet feeder. I opened the sheet feeder door and noticed that the plastic casing over the wiring on the right hand side was loose, due to the screw housing being broken. I taped all of this down securely, but still no joy. I also noticed that the rubber wheels on the bottom of the sheet feeder fail to turn. Is there any way to disable or by pass the sheet feeder?
Can you copy from the glass top? The feeder asm should be easy to purchase from ebay or HP.
