Question about Polaroid Z340 3 X 4 inch Instant Digital Camera

Open Question

Just bought a Polaroid Z340 instant film camera and it's not printing pictures.

And iIwhich side of the film was the shiny side, but I'm assuming it's the slightly tinted blue side? The camera acts like it's printing and it will spit out a piece of film paper.... with nothing on it.

Just to clarify, both the camera and film are brand new.

Correction to the question, it should say, "And I figured out which side of the film was the shiny side..."

Never mind. I'm just going to return the camera for a new one.

Be aware, jpg is an universal format, for pictures. It is not so all pictures have the same format and information. Your Polaroid can cope with a certain format of pictures. That is with the correct amount of pixels and he correct RGB settings, as your Polaroid camera produces.
It is not a computer. When you connect a printer to a computer, with the print program, the program can transform any picture size to any print size and also can work with RGB and sRGB, or even more challenges. I'm not even sure the Polaroid will accept pictures in the same format, if to a certain code is in the jpg.

Why does my Polaroid z340 can t print?

On page 52 of the manual it says, press print to enter the print menu or when you want to print the last picture you took, press the print button twice.

Frezes every time i try and print

Did you try to charge the battery. For printing the battery, needs enough power. If the camera senses there is not enough power to print one complete picture, it will shut down. Sometimes you could shoot 10 or 20 pictures, but you can't print one picture, for the lack of power.

Pictures all white

i'm assumming the film was in the camera? If so the film was exposed to the air and if expired this will cause white pics.If film was in sealed package than it still is film related, you bought new batteries so again persumming film is very old.Sounds like shutters are opening if white, black photo's are shutter problems. hope i helped!

I have i polaroid procam its old i just found it and it takes the picture but then it doesnt come out, can this be fixed?

The battery built into the long-expired film has run flat. The only fix is to insert fresh film, Polaroid don't majke it any more, but The Impossible Project make compatible film with just 8 exposures instead of 10 per pack.

OK it's worth asking which Impossible film you're using, as they're selling two kinds. One being old outdated and repackaged Polaroid made film, and one being their new production run film.

If you've purchased the old stock stuff there's a VERY good chance those old batteries in the pack are simply exhaused beyond use and the film pack is therefore useless. I'd personally contact Impossible for support.

My daughter bought a Polaroid One Step camera at a yard sale, but the battery is dead. Is there a way to change the battery?

Polaroid OneStep cameras have the battery built-in to the film back. If you are using Polaroid 600 film, simply change the film cartridge.
