From page 21 of the owner's manual: Message: general alarm. Meaning: The inside of the appliance is very dirty. What to do: Clean the inside of the appliance thoroughly, as described in section 15. If the message is still displayed after cleaning, contact a service center.
Hope that all your machine needs is a thorough cleaning; it's not that difficult.

It is best that you contact the customer care of DeLonghi and post your request. you can also register your product for support.
The power supply can be sourced after the price is confirmed as these are available only with their spares department.
