Update the driver of your touchpad. You can get it from the manufacturer's website. Or you can scan your computer with RadarSync so that you don't need to dig for it somewhere. Radarsync will update it for you automatically.

I hope this helps!

Flashing start light

see this causes and fix it. God bless you
Drain Pump If lights are flashing on the control panel, the drain pump might not be working properly. For two-wire drain pump motors check them for continuity using an Ohm meter. If it's defective YOU'LL need to replace it. Drain pumps are not repairable.
Heating Element If lights are flashing on the control panel, the heating element might have burned out. The heating element heats the water up to operating temperature. After a set amount of time if the temperature isn't reached a light on the control panel might start flashing. The heating element can be checked for continuity with an Ohm meter.

Heating Element Assembly If lights are flashing on the control panel, the heating element assembly might have burned out. The heating element assembly heats the water up to operating temperature. After a set amount of time if the temperature isn't reached a light on the control panel might start flashing. The heating element assembly can be checked for continuity with an Ohm meter.

Touchpad and Control Panel If the lights are flashing on the display the entire touchpad and control panel assembly might be defective. If the display works but the dishwasher functions are all out of synch, or some of the buttons don't respond properly the entire touchpad and control panel might need to be replaced
Touchpad If the display lights are flickering for no reason, the touchpad might need to be replaced. Sometimes when the touchpad is defective the display lights are flashing randomly.

Check Fault Codes If the display lights are flashing and there is an error code in the display window, check the Error Codes guide on our website to determine which component has failed or is failing

Touchpad problem

I am going to assume the touchpad doesn't work, since you didn't elaborate much in your description. If it isn't doing anything, you need to reinstall the drivers for the touchpad. If you have an external mouse laying around, use it to go to the acer site and redownload the touchpad software and follow the instructions to install it. The next time you boot your computer, it will work.

My touchpad not working

is their a button above the touchpad? if there is press it, you may have disabled it. if that doesn't work plug in a mouse and go to control panel once booted and verify that the touchpad isn't disabled in device manager.

Touch keypad on the JGS8750BDS is unresponisve, still getting power as the clock is still functioning. is there a breaker besides the ones on my house I can trip on and off to reset it

the touchpad could be bad or the clock assy. also could be bad, just because the clock still lites up doesn't mean the computer board isn't bad.is there any error codes that come up?also have you tried shutting it down for a while, sometimes the computer board has to be rebooted just like a regular computer, another thing you can try is unplug it,remove the front panel or touchpad, unplug the ribbin and then plug it back in,i've done this before and the touchpad functioned again.also check the tech sheet or book that came with it,on some there's a lock on the touchpad so kids can't start the oven, someone could have locked the touchpad but there isn't any other fuse to check for.on the sears site your touchpad is 252 dollars and the part number is W10206074 the electronic control is 185 and the part number is 8507P227-60 but you can call your parts store and make sure this is correct.did the power go out in your area or anything like that to cause this or did it just stop working altogether.it sounds like a bad touchpad but for that kind of money you might want to call someone in to check it

I have Acer aspire 6930 its touch pad not working i installed the drivers also. I am using windows7 OS

Go into your BIOS on the laptop when you first turn it on. Go in there and see if there is a setting for the touchpad. If there is then go ahead and make sure its enabled. If there isn't then you'll need to take apart the laptop and reseat the connector that goes from the touchpad to the motherboard.
If that doesn't do it then you'll need to get the touchpad replaced.

If the touchpad is working but the scroller isn't then it sounds like a hardware problem. I would call Dell and try to return it for another one.

Hey..i have a hp probook 4420s. its mouse pad ain't working due to which i have to use an external mouse. please tell me how to fix this problem.

First, make sure your trackpad button is enabled... if that isn't the problem, then go to your device manager and check that there isn't a driver issue, if there is you'll see a little yellow triangle next to the category "Mice and other pointing devices".
If there is an issue, highlight your touchpad, then right click and choose "Uninstall Driver".

After the driver is uninstalled, go to your start menu and shut down the computer, then restart it and the new driver should automatically reload into the system.

If its not a driver issue, then its the touchpad itself and you'll have to contact a technician for repair/replacement.
