You will now need to buy the software, it keeps track of the installation in your computer's registry to prevent people from just using the trial over and over again

You can go to Microsoft then look at the office web pages. They will have links to download a 30 day trial of 2010. Simply download install and then use your key and activate and you then will have full 2010.
On the 2007 help one of the items should be goto the office web page.

to get a license product key you must logon to http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/buy/ and purchase a license product key. after purchasing a licensed product key, you will then receive an email together with the product key and the download link. after installing the office 2010 on your computer, you will be directed to the activation right away where you can choose on how to activate your office 2010. you can activate it thru the internet or thru phone. if you encounter a problem with activating the office 2010 on both methods then you will need to call the microsoft support so they can activate it by themselves.

Any Product ID or Activation Code to pre-used, pre-activated or pre-registered with Microsoft or some combination of the three. The resulting danger of functionality and update restriction and unauthorised user usage limitations are highly probable.
Here are some practical options to consider instead.
If you remain unable to reconcile the software with its correct matching Licence and yet are determined to continue using MS Word 2010, then you will have to purchase a full, genuine, unused licensed copy of the software from a reputable, reliable supplier, such as Amazon
Online offers of Free Downloads of MS Office products are probably almost universally either not genuine, illegal, unlicensed or pre-used licence versions, downloadable only from illicit download sites or sites that are masquerading non-existent MS Office products as camouflage for the marketing of other (often unrelated) software, products or services.
Even if you do succeed in finding a Product ID or Activation Code that seems to work for MS Word 2010, you will still have to purchase a separate, genuine, unused Activation Code for the product before you can successfully install it, use it with confidence, register it, activate it and download and benefit from Updates and Security Patches for it from Microsoft.
Another option is to download MS Office Word 2010 60 Day Trial or MS Office 2010 Pro 60 Day Trial and install it, carefully following each step:
Go to: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/try
If you do not want to buy or cannot afford a full, licensed copy of MS Office Word 2010or MS Office 2010 Pro or Microsoft Word Corporate/Enterprise Edition 2010, and/or prefer to pursue the downloading option, consider the latest version of a genuine, comparable free program -
OpenOffice or LibreOffice - downloadable from source at:
You can use OpenOffice and LibreOffice simultaneously with MS Office Word 2010 60 Day Trial.
If you delete MS Office Word 2010 60 Day Trial, well before the 60 day expiry date, and Remove all components of it from Add or Remove Programs (or its equivalent in your Operating System) and restarting before downloading and installing, it is usually possible to enter into further 60 Day trial periods.
I hope this helps.
