Question about Lenovo Computers & Internet
My brand new laptop came with defected 'k' key which hardly functions. It isn't working properly and it seems to be getting worse. Sometimes i have to press the 'k' key 2-3 times before it types.
Sounds like you need a new keyboard, it should still be under warranty, if not here is the service manual that will show you how to remove it and install a new one pg 49 click here. If you need to know where to purchase one click here

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: Asus w2v laptop keyboard problem
Press Fn + Numlock. You have the number lock on, but laptops don't have a number pad. So it re-assigns these keys to overlay some existing ones. Once your number lock is turned off you should be ok.

complete system clean and optimization...possibly formate drive and reinstall windows...being that its an old pc, it probably is slow do to needing a good cleaning. if both those resolutions dont work then its the pc.

The keyboard is made that limited to no service can be done, replacement of the entire keyboard is required. Short term solution is use external keyboard if available.
