For my FTR9965, it is necessary to physically unplug the
power cord from the box before you are able to enter the service codes. The sequence is:

1. Unplug the box for a few seconds.

2. Plug it in again.

3. Turn on the box with the front panel power switch. Wait for the green light to come on.

4. From the remote, quickly enter 062596 plus the info key.

5. A message comes on the monitor warning you that you could really screw things up if you don't know what you're doing, and do you really want to continue? If yes, hit any button on the remote. You only have a few seconds to respond.

6. The "stand alone" option is near the end of the "service" menu list. When you find it, change the "no" to "yes".

7. Go back to the main SAM menu, scroll down to "Store", and hit OK. I'm assuming this makes the "yes" selection permanent.

8. Enter "00" to exit SAM.

I my projector is new one used for 4 hrs, when i try to turn it on it just has a blinking green light. Please help Solve It! .

The blinking green light means the unit is either Powering On (Warming Up) or Powering Off (Cooling Down).

Powering On the Projector
1. Remove the lens cap.
2. Securely connect the power cord and signal cable. When connected, the ON/STANDBY LED will turn Amber.
3. Turn on the lamp by pressing " " button either on the top of the projector or on the remote. The ON/STANDBY LED will now turn Green. The startup screen will display in approximately 10 seconds. The first time you use the projector, you can select your preferred language from quick menu after the startup screen displays.
4. Turn on and connect the source that you want to display on the screen (computer, notebook, video player, etc). The projector will detect the source automatically. If not, push menu button and go to "SETUP". Make sure that the "Source Lock" has been set to "Off". If you connect multiple sources at the same time, press the "SOURCE" button on the control panel or direct source keys on the remote control to switch between inputs.

If you are still unable to get the unit to turn on, try unplugging it for 10 minutes and plugging it back in. If it still ceases to work, contact Optoma here:

My macbook pro starts up but i dont get the chime and no screen start up?

Most likely fix is to reset the SMC.
Turn the power off, remove all peripheral cables, connect the AC power supply. Using the left-side keys, press the combination Shift-Control-Option-powerbutton ONCE. The LED on the MagSafe connector
should go off, go back to green when keys are released, and may change to orange if the battery still needs some charge. Wait five seconds, then press the power button to restart the computer.

Pl2010m orange standby light, black screen

Try booting the pc in safe mode (press f8 at startup). It may be possible that the pc is trying to send too high a resolution to the monitor...unlikely though. The symptom you describe usually indicates that the power board or the inverter board in the monitor are defective. If it does the same thing in safe mode, you have 2 options.

1. Replace the power board and inverter board (do the inverter board's the cheaper one (10-20 dollars).
2. Send the monitor back to the seller for a refund, or get a new monitor.

Sorry I couldn't give you more positive feedback. Hope this helps.

When turned on, no picture, sound or response. LED is OK

I had a similar problem with my HANNSLounge 32", the screen switched on with green light but none of the front panel buttons worked (screen is black apart from showing the input source in the top left).
After powering off numerous times I tried starting up with a blank SD card in the reader and the tv cycled between red green and blue screens and then reset itself. (Some sort of firmware restore?) After which point I had a working screen again! (Will have to see how long it lasts for!)
