Kenmore 417-48102701 front end loader washer. Won't go into spin cycle? Any thoughts of what to look for?

could be a number of problems, but try this FIRST push and hold any two buttons in for about 20 seconds make sure the machine is on,if this fails then you could have a blocked pump ie a sock is the usual suspect some mackines have a filter at the lower front check below the door if there is one then open and unscrew anty clock wise,if not then the pump will need removed and unblocked.adrianxxx

Kenmore front load washer #44072 drum banging noise

2 possible issues with your washer.
1 or both the support shocks or springs have broken
the drum would look off center even when empty
or rear bearring has worn out.
this is a very common problem with the fridgidaire washer... (this kenmore is a frigidaire model)
problem is caused by very hard water (well water) or improper use of detergent. this machine uses a High efficency type detergent, marked by "HE" on the detergent container

Kenmore front load washer

My Kenmore front-load washer starts to make the huge noise. The noise happens during the wash cycle, but is mild. During the spin cycle, the noise becomes really loud. It looks like the drum is getting loose and hitting other part of the machine.
I checked the drum, and I can sway the drum easily with my hand. So it looks some supporting structure is broken. I don't know if it is easy to open the washer to check what has been broken.
