SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

SOURCE: Unable to View Java Applet

"load: class JFI.class not found."
Based on the console output, it means that it cannot find the java applet class. In other words, the applet is missing on the server side. There is nothing that you can do about it, unless you know the person who created the applet. Good luck :)

D3derr_notavailable Problem

1) Go to the DirectX control panel (Start->Settings->Control Panel).

2) Select the Direct3D tab.

3) Enable the "Enumerate Reference Rasterizer" option.

If you don't have a DirectX control panel applet or it's disabled/greyed out, then make sure you install the latest SDK and not just a new runtime! (i.e. if you install a DX9.0 runtime over a DX8.0 SDK you can get these kinds of problems because the REF device, control panel applet etc are only for development so only come with the SDK)

Give the complete process of download and install eclipse

Well... That depends on what you are using Eclipse for. I will assume you are using it for Android development. If you are not, hopefully this will provide some insight on your application of Eclipse
Step 1. Download and Install the Java Development Kit (JDK) here.
Step 2. Download and install the Android SDK. Get it here
Step 3. Download Eclipse Classic Here (as zip file)
Step 4. Extract Eclipse to a directory where you can remember.
Step 5. open eclipse.exe , then select Help > Install New Software....
Step 6. Click Add, in the top-right corner.
Step 7.In the Add Repository dialog that appears, enter "ADT Plugin" for theName and the following URL for the Location: "https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/eclipse/" Note: If you have trouble acquiring the plugin, try using "http" in the Location URL, instead of "https" (https is preferred for security reasons).
Step 8. Click OK.
Step 9. In the Available Software dialog, select the checkbox next to Developer Tools and click Next.
Step 10. In the next window, you'll see a list of the tools to be downloaded. Click Next.
Step 11. Read and accept the license agreements, then click Finish.
Step 12. When the installation completes, restart Eclipse.

p.s. When I downloaded the 64 bit edition of the JDK, the Android SDK could not seem to detect it. So, I then downloaded the 32 bit version of all software (JDK, SDK, and Eclipse) and had no problems since. Also, even if you are not using Eclipse for android dev, after following the above directions, you will still be able to use it for java development.

Ee.... naka download naman p ko ng java pero ba't ayw gmna ng java na download k ......

Hi!

Depends on what you need. If you are programming you need the SDK. For just normal usage you need the JRE.

Try downloading the latest from here
http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp

If you are unsure download bothe the JDK and the JRE.

I hope this helps.

Hello sir, How do we link a java applet code to an oracle database..

The java applet code can only communicate with the server the applet was loaded from (unless it is signed and trusted by the browser).

Then, you need one of the following : Either
*) Your database server will need to be the same as your web server (and open to the world). This is not recommended at all, for security reasons mainly, but also performance reasons.
*) You will need some server side scripts (php and/or cgi) to handle specific requests from the applet and send the information back. (Give some thought to the fact that people might access these scripts without the applet, and will be able to see all the communication between applet and script)

Is there a specific reason for using an applet, rather than javascript/AJAX ? I ask because more browsers support the latter than the former.

Websphere thread hungs frequently with Business Objects and it gets restarted automatically.

The issue usually manifests itself with a line in the SystemOut.log or equivalent reporting the following:
WSVR0605W: Thread "THREAD NAME : ID" (55c8824f) has been active for 600,112 milliseconds and may be hung. There are 1 threads in total in the server that may be hung.

If you do a thread dump in your App Server at this point, you will see something like so:

The cause:
This is mainly caused by reports that take a great deal of time to execute causing the application server to report that the processing thread is 'hung'. A worse side effect of this is when the application server runs out of threads and is unable to process any further requests due to these hung threads.

The solution:
The problem is due to the fact that the Corba Timeout has not been set. You've missed the clientSDKOptions.xml in your deployment. This causes the RAS SDK to probably never timeout its call to the RAS.

Create a file called clientSDKOptions.xml and place it in your application's WEB-INF/classes folder, or alternatively, you could place it in a server wide classpath folder like 'applib' on OC4J or $WASPROFILE/properties on WebSphere.
The contents of the file should be as follows:

<CrystalReports.ClientSDKOptions
xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/1999/XMLSchema-instance"
version="2"
xsi:type="CrystalReports.ClientSDKOptions">
<CORBARequestTimeout>120000</CORBARequestTimeout>
</CrystalReports.ClientSDKOptions>

Restart your app and your done. Your call should now timeout within 2 minutes (something with you can change) and you can say goodbye to your Hung Threads issue.

What is servlets?

Java Servlet technology provides Web developers with a simple, consistent mechanism for extending the functionality of a Web server and for accessing existing business systems. A servlet can almost be thought of as an applet that runs on the server side--without a face. Java servlets make many Web applications possible.  » Read More The reference implementation is included in the Java EE 5 SDK and also in the open-source Java Platform, Enterprise Edition (Java EE) application server, available through the GlassFish project, which you can download from java.net. The reference implementation source code is available from the servlet-sources project on java.net.
