You cannot use the memory

SOURCE: formating my memory card
There is not a generic code or way to format your SD card. You can get a software program, costing $20.-$50.00 called "MediaWiper" to format and re-arrange your files.
If you want to save $$$, I'd suggest to contact the manufactor on "How To's" Your Mobile provider can give you this information as well. For Example, you can go to www.T-mobile.com/support in the search engine type in (your kind of phone) reformat SD card.

Are you using Micro SD transflsh memory??
Format the Card on the PC using FAT, after that use a CARDREADER and put these folders on the card: MOBILE and in the mobile folder put audio, video, kjava, picture, temp! Shutdown your Motorola, remove the backcover and plug-in the card! After that Start Your Motorola and copy a file from the mobile's memory on the CARD! It should work!
Hope it Helped You,If so give an "High Five!" [;)]
