Please try and remove the cap by turning it clockwise and counter clock wise to remove it. If it doesn't come off then empty the water dispenser and use glue to fix the leak. See this link to see which type of glue should be used--- Glue Usage
Please do accept this solution and revert for further assistance.

Filters themselves don't usually leak. Check full insertion of filter, cracked filter housing or cracked supply line.

I had the same problem on mine...it ended up being how tight I had the screw on the handle. I loosened it and it quit. Also, you might try different tightness on the valve nut.
Hope this helps,

Sounds like the gaskets are torn or worn out. Local hardware stores sell replacements for just about every make and model out there you won't need any tools other then some screwdrivers and allen wrenches if this is the only problem. When you open the head to inspect (make sure you turn the water main off in your house just in case) check the plastic housing to see if it's brittle or cracked. If it is you will want to replace the entire unit.

SOURCE: water leaking at filter
If this is a Pure source 2 filter in the upper right hand side of fridge, Purchase an Electrolux filter bypass, P/N 241944302. This is a empty cartridge that lets water flow without water drip when filter is clogged. Fridgidaire/Electrolux made no bypass in these filters, so when clogged they leak. Plus they NEVER last more than about 30/60 days. If you use the bypass, you will need a separate filter elsewhere such as in water line under sink or behind fridge. Call me at 816-560-8545 if you need more info.
