Question about Computers & Internet
If the screen is black it could be the backlights or the power board (inverter probably). To check if the backlights are out, shine a flashlight in the screen to see if you have an image. If there is an image all you have to do is replace the lights. If it's the power board, check for bulged capacitors. If you aren't comfortable with electronics or high voltage I wouldn't recommend checking them. And 3 the power inverter just check for continuity or if you're getting power at all with it plugged in with multimeter. Again if you're inexperienced and don't know what you're doing take it to a professional.
