Need to find switch power wire 2006 explorer for fm modulator

Have you tried looking for an empty cavity in the fuse panel? Usually there will be one or more in there, just stick probe in there, and if no power, try turning key on, and if it lights up (test light) or shows power , use it. make sure you fuse wire though.

Im trying to connect a FM modulator that connects straight into the antenna connector. Where is the antenna connection made at?

The antenna is plugged to the rear of the radio, either direct or on a trailing wire, depending on head unit.
A simpler version of a tv antenna connection, just a push fit with a coax cable.

Radio has no power not the fuse

There are (2) fuses. One behind the stereo attached to the positive wire and the other one is under the hood in the fuze box or under the steering wheel with the relays.

No constant Bat. for the radio. for a 1995 Honda civic.

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

Offhand on most car radio, the yellow wire should be connected to an always on B+12 source (such as the one connected to the + terminal of the battery); the red would be connected to an ACC B+12 such as the a wire from the IGN switch and of course the black to the GND. A fuse would be inline on either or both the yellow and red. The fuse holder would look like a tubular lump along the wiring sometimes black or translucent. In some instances, there would be a fuse holder below the connector at the rear of the radio. To determine always on 12 and ACC 12, a voltmeter would come in handy.

Good luck and Thank you for using FixYa.
