Question about GE JKP27 Electric Double Oven

Open Question

Replacement Oven control (WB27T10264) installation

I was a replacement oven control. It does not match up logically with the original. Orginal is control isWB27K5299 Replacementcontrol is WB27T10264 The oven is JKP27 The socket for the ribbon cable in the new controller accomodates a wider ribbon cable and is oriented horizontally as opposed to vertical on the board. The individual wires don't match up with wiring docs circulating on the internet. Those docs reference connections labeled NO and COM which are not on the new board. It looks like word NO may have been written over the OVL2 connection. Hard to tell. Has anyone solved this ? This is supposed to be the correct replacement part. Outside of many guesses I don't see how anyone (including a technician) could install the thing.

SOURCE: jrp24bow3bb electric double oven control panel.

Hi rhonm,
You should have found a connection diagram in the top of the oven. If you didn't, call GE at the following number and they will send you one. 1-800-626-2005
It would be very difficult for any one to make a recommendation without seeing the oven or part. Are there one or two gray wires? My first guess is that they sent you the wrong part. See photo for typical double oven ERC.

Yes, but the replacement door may cost as much as a new microwave oven. Not sure if it's logical to replace just the door.

One of the relay boards is a downdraft relay board....I would be suspecting the main clock assembly as it is the one that shuts down and controls everything. This might also increase the fan speed randomly, turn it on at random temperatures etc., You have to get a new board. You can find it here

Repairing an (F2 E0 or F2 E1 error code) Failed Whirlpool Builtin Oven Keypad...

A replacement touchpad is now available from Ledgestone Technologies to replace various membrane keypad switches that are not available from the OEM.
These are in stock and can be shipped today from fixyourboard.
Find the full list of applicable models here:
Introducing the Ledgestone Technologies Touchpad
Step 1. Remove Original Plastic Bezel
BE SURE TO REMOVE POWER TO OVEN FIRST!

You are going to re-use the original plastic bezel. Remove the panel from your oven that contains the keypad and control board. Uplug the keypad from the control board. Remove the control board from the panel (4 screws).

Step 2. Remove Original Touchpad Membrane
With a heat gun, lightly heat the original keypad from the back of the panel. This will soften the adhesive. Gently but firmly push the old keypad off the bezel by pushing from the back of the panel on the keypad window. Carefully remove the original keypad membrane element. Most of the original adhesive should pull off with the keypad. Rub off any remaining adhesive.

Step 3. Install New Ledgestone Touchpad
Remove adhesive backing paper from the Ledgestone Technologies KP1308A1 Replacement Touchpad Membrane. Align and adhere new touchpad to recess in plastic bezel. Below are examples of black on black and gray on white. Gray also looks good on bisque or almond.

Step 4. Re-install Bezel on Oven
Re-attach control board to bezel, plug-in new keypad. Re-attach bezel to oven frame. Done!

Have a Whirlpool Gold dbl. oven. Last Fri. night oven started beeping and display the E0F2 code. Turned off brk'r till next a.m., turned on only to have in a rolling sequence going from 350 upper oven...

Good Evening!
Do you have the full model number of your appliance? Do all of the buttons beep when pressed? If not, unfortunately, the touchpad on your unit may have failed again. An E0-F2 is a stuck key error. The only way to fix this issue would be to replace your touchpad. Your more than welcome to send in your touchpad and control board for evaluation and testing. Contact us for more information info@fixyourboard.com. We also have replacement touchpads for your oven if the original OEM part is discontinued.

My digital display is not working on my Whirlpool Super Capacity 465

Your problem is most likely the main circuit board for the control panel. That is really the brains for the oven. Ovens are funny things to put electronics in. Electronics do not like heat and what use is an oven that doesn't get hot. I have replaced several of these boards in the recent past and that is what you are most probably going to need to do. Should be an easy replacement. Just be careful removing and replacing the connectors. Some are very fragile (not a good thing to engineer in for a consumer product). I would recommend that you get the model number from the door tag and call one of the appliance replacement companies or Sears for a replacement control board. I would remove the original and make sure that you are ordering the right part number. Manufacturers have a bad habit of switching control boards mid production year, so you could end up with a replacement that will not work.

F1 code after installing oven, cut power to unit for 30 min. then F7 code displayed. What do they mean? This is a model SC302ZS Thank you for your help.

F1 means internal logic failure; control needs to be replaced
F7 means function key shorted (touch pad).
Hope that helps.
